IOM Yemen: Hays Water Initiative: A Step Towards Rebuilding Lives

This intervention is transforming lives in Hays and Mokha, where the water crisis has become a daily struggle for families. IOM is taking crucial steps to establish two new boreholes, complete with pumping systems and a water tower, to ensure that clean water is accessible to both host communities and displaced families. As these communities grapple with the effects of conflict and environmental stressors, this project aims to alleviate the burden of water scarcity, improve health outcomes, and restore dignity to those affected.
