UN-Habitat Yemen restored basic Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene services (WASH) in Aden

Supported by the Japanese People, UN-Habitat #yemen restored basic Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene services (WASH) in different areas of #aden, benefiting over 74,000 people. The restoration of these services has led to a decrease in waterborne diseases, helped empower vulnerable communities, and boosted the capacity of various stakeholders. Moreover, more than 16,500 individuals have been educated on COVID-19 and waterborne disease risks, and 7,124 unemployed youth have gained new employment opportunities.
