UNESCO Yemen: Restoring Hope & Bringing People Back Home - Sana'a

"My house was damaged. People telling me that staying in this house like suicide" Samera said, a homeowner in old city of Sana'a, #Yemen.
UNESCO, through the European Union-funded project in Yemen and the local partner Social Fund for Development (SFD) - Yemen is not only saving irreplaceable historic fabric & architectural identity of cities like Old Sana'a, but also restoring hope by bringing back people to their cherished historic homes and creating work opportunities for project-trained Yemeni youth in vital restoration skills.
“Now, my daughters and I will live in safety and peace of mind,” Samera shared with a smile.
