UNICEF Yemen: How Hope Restored Water to 215,000 People in Taiz

💧 “We used to spend the whole day searching for water… sometimes we came back empty-handed.”
For families in Taiz, water wasn’t just scarce—it shaped their entire day.

When they saw machines arriving to clean the wells, they held on to hope.

“We said, Inshallah, it will be good… and it truly was.”
Today, that hope has become reality.
With support from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund, UNICEF rehabilitated 10 wells—providing 878 additional cubic meters of water every day and improving access to safe water for 215,000 people.
