United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) 2012 - 2015

Extended up to 2020

The UNDAF was developed through a consultative process involving the United Nations Country Team (UNCT), Government of Yemen (GOY), Civil Society and Non - Governmental Organisations (NGOs).

Thefollowing four priority areas were identified at the Strategic Prioritisation Retreat held in October 2010; (1) Inclusive and diversified economic growth with a social dividend; (2) Sustainable and equitable access to quality basic social services to accelerate progress towards MDGs; (3) Women and youth empowerment; and (4) Good governance and social cohesion.
